Evan Lim
Evan is currently studying Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He became involved with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) after joining North Surrey Secondary's robotics team, Hephaestus 6390. With a strong passion for STEM, he wanted to introduce and share these principles to others in the community through robotics. As a result, he mentored many students in various programs such as Team 6390's summer robotics workshops, the BASES robotics program, and the Neurodiverse Robotics program.
Jacob Zhu
Jacob is a first year Sciences student at the University of British Columbia. During his time in high school, he could often be found spending his afternoons and evenings on the resident CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine, as well as mentoring other students in the school robotics team. Since then, he has continued his involvement in STEM as a volunteer at Neurodiverse Robotics.
Jeremy Lee
Jeremy is a former Team Captain of Team Hephaestus 6390. He became involved with Neurodiverse Robotics to express the belief that everyone is able to create and build robots. Robotics is such a key role to the future of our society, and he believes that everyone should have equal opportunities to become involved in STEM. Jeremy hopes to provide everyone an equal chance to become involved with the future that we build.
Taryn Nahal
Taryn is currently a student at the University of Fraser Valley studying Psychology. During her high school years at Fleetwood Park Secondary she was often found in the dance room peer tutoring younger children. Taryn had spent a lot of her time working and focusing on her studies to graduate early. Taryn joined Neurodiverse Robotics to work with other kids and give them the opportunities she had while in high school. She is very happy to be involved with these individuals and hopes to continue to work with them and create more robots!
Jeffrey Lu
Jeffrey is a student from North Surrey Secondary and became involved with Neurodiverse Robotics because of his passion for working with children with disabilities. Jeffrey believes that providing equal opportunities to individuals with ASD is vital and that they allow them to flourish and develop their skills and interests. Jeffrey believes that Neurodiverse Robotics provides children with disabilities a new and educational experience.
